Project Bantay Kalusugan (BK)

The third week of July is National Science and Technology Week!
For NSTW, we will be highlighting several Angat Buhay Youth alumni organizations for their contribution in using science and innovation to promote sustainable development practices in the Philippines.
Keep Hope Alive (KHA) is a youth volunteer NGO based in Oriental Mindoro that champions sustainable rural development through community involvement. One of their initiatives, Bantay Kalusugan, focuses on building solar-powered health centers in remote areas, especially in Mangyan communities. Besides being one of the winners of the 2017 Angat Buhay Youth Summit, KHA’s commitment to provide accessible healthcare to vulnerable sectors has been recognized in the 2016 Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) Awards, and in the 2018 Search for Outstanding Volunteers.
